Its warm, veiled light is better suited to creating ambiance than for task lighting: above a console table, in a pair on either side of a bed, or in a group of three or four arranged freely on a large bare wall.

General installation rule: approximately 1.20 to 1.40 m above the floor above a bed, or around 1.70 m in a living area. The 25 cm diameter requires an unobstructed wall, away from a frame or shelf that is too close.

Material, finish, and care

The ceramic is shaped with a pleated relief and a matte surface that catches grazing light. Each shade retains its mineral character: brown and black deepen the shadows, while white and green soften them. Dust the pleats with a soft brush or dry cloth; ceramic is more sensitive to impacts than to ambient humidity.

Bulb and installation

The LED is integrated into the sphere: no socket, no bulb to provide. The wall light connects to a wall-mounted cable outlet controlled by a switch. Compatibility with a dimmer is not specified by the manufacturer.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the Voa ceramic wall light?

Voa measures 25 cm in diameter and 25 cm in height. It is a medium size, noticeable without being overwhelming: it looks good on a bedroom or living room wall. The manufacturer does not indicate the depth; measure the available space if the wall light is to be placed near a walkway.

Is the light from Voa glaring?

No. The light source is hidden inside an opaque sphere that diffuses a warm, milky light without any visible bright spot. The light then glides over the pleats of the ceramic. It is an ambient light, better suited to a quiet evening than prolonged reading.

Can Voa be plugged into an outlet?

No. The manufacturer specifies a wall-mounted installation with fixed electrical wiring. A power supply at the wall connected to a switch is therefore required. If your wall does not have one, an electrician can create a cable outlet before installation, preferably before the final paintwork.

Which ceramic shade should I choose for Voa?

Four matte shades are available: green, black, brown, and white. White blends into a light-colored wall and highlights the pleats. Black and brown stand out and create a sharp graphic design. Green remains soft on an ecru plaster finish. All four share the same size and central sphere.

For more

For other materials and sizes, see the wall light collection.
