The square format works well in repetition: two Mirens on either side of a bed, or three aligned in a hallway, create a regular rhythm on the wall.

The cable is not adjustable, so the electrical outlet must be positioned exactly at the mounting point. General installation rule: at the bedside, place the center of the square approximately 1.40 to 1.50 m above the floor, within easy reach from the bed.

Material, finish, and maintenance

The body and shade are made of metal, giving them a bold shape and clean edges. The colored finishes—yellow, green, orange, or red—should be treated like painted objects: use a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid solvents that could dull the color. Black and white show fewer marks.

Bulb and installation

There is no need to purchase a light source: the SMD LED is already installed and emits warm light. Therefore, no socket or bulb fitting is required. The model is listed as non-dimmable and without smart controls, which means it cannot be used with a wall dimmer. Assembly is required during installation, and the manufacturer recommends hiring an electrician.

Frequently asked questions

Which color Miren should I choose?

Black and white blend in with most walls and let the square shape stand out. Yellow, orange, and red become a bold color accent, best used sparingly on a light-colored wall. Green is the easiest of the three bright tones to pair with wood or linen.

Can the Miren LED be replaced?

The SMD LED module is built-in and supplied with the light fixture; there is no socket for a standard bulb. The manufacturer does not provide instructions for replacing the module. If the light source fails one day, contact the after-sales service rather than attempting to disassemble it blindly.

Can Miren be installed in a bathroom?

No. The listed IP20 rating is intended for dry rooms only. Painted metal does not withstand the continuous moisture of a bathroom well, and the electrical protection remains insufficient. Instead, choose a model with at least an IP44 rating for a room with water fixtures, and keep Miren for the bedroom or living room.

How many Mirens are needed to light a bedroom?

With one LED per wall light and a recommended area of 5 to 10 m², Miren provides accent lighting rather than general illumination. Plan for two at the head of the bed, or one Miren to complement a ceiling light. In a hallway, three units spaced evenly mark the path.

Learn more

Explore our full catalog of wall lights.
