It includes a supplied LED light source and is designed for indoor use, in a bedroom or living room. In a living room, several squares aligned in a row add rhythm to a bare wall. The small version suits a narrow wall or a headboard; the large one works better on an open wall.

General installation rule: 1.60 to 1.80 m from the floor in a living area, 1.10 to 1.30 m above the mattress at the head of the bed. The IP20 rating means Nova is intended for dry rooms.

Material, finish and maintenance

The body and shade are made of metal. The brown and gold shades match wood; the gray and white blend into a light-colored wall. Dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth while the device is turned off.

Bulb and installation

The LED is integrated and supplied. There is no socket: the light source cannot be changed like a standard bulb. The device connects to the 110-240 V network via cable and is not dimmable. The power is not specified. Assembly is required; the manufacturer recommends installation by an electrician.

Frequently asked questions

Can Nova be used as a reading light above the bed?

It illuminates the bedside area, but it is not a reading light: its shape is fixed, without an adjustable head, and its LED is not dimmable. It provides ambient light on either side of the bed. For reading, a model with an adjustable head, such as the Uvan spotlight in the catalog, will direct the beam better onto the page.

Can the Nova wall light be installed in a bathroom?

No. Its IP20 rating does not protect against water splashes. Nova is designed for dry rooms: bedroom, living room, dining room, or entryway. For a bathroom, a minimum IP44 rating is required in the areas permitted by the NF C 15-100 standard, a level this model does not reach.

Do I need to provide a bulb for Nova?

No, there is no bulb in the traditional sense. The LED light source is integrated into the luminaire and supplied upon delivery. Its lifespan is not provided by the manufacturer. In the event of a light source failure, replacement depends on the manufacturer, as there is no standard socket to unscrew on this model.

Which size of Nova should I choose?

The small version suits a narrow wall, hallway, or headboard, while the large one stands out on an open living room wall. The exact dimensions are not provided in text in the sheet: if the wall light runs along a door or corner, check the space requirements before installation.

For more

To compare, here are other metal wall lights from the catalog.

browse the wall light collection

Kira, colored double-head wall light

Volo and its adjustable bar

Lustra, recessed LED reading light

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1050/3949/5499/files/BL016-66bc55a8-aa52-4b7f-91d6-75d1454a9ead.jpg?v=1793207093
