The body is walnut-colored wood, while the shade is travertine. The section measures just 4.5 cm by 4.5 cm, with a length of 20 cm.

The LED is integrated and has a stated power of approximately 5 W.

Technical specifications

Length: 20 cm

Width: 4.5 cm

Height: 4.5 cm

Body: wood

Shade: travertine

Color: walnut

Light source: integrated LED lighting

Power: approximately 5 W

Dimmer: not compatible with a wall dimmer

Where to install this wall light?

With a section of 4.5 cm, Ostruvyo is one of the most discreet wall lights you can install. It almost disappears on the wall, leaving only a 20 cm line visible.

Its compact size makes it ideal for tight spaces: along a mirror, in a recess, above an auxiliary worktop, or in a row to punctuate a hallway. Its stated 5 W makes it an accent light, not a main light source.

General installation rule: for a linear bar, first decide on the orientation, horizontal or vertical, then align it with an existing edge, the edge of a mirror, or a partition wall.

Material, finish and maintenance

The body is made of walnut-colored wood. The shade is travertine: the manufacturer states that the stone patterns vary from product to product and that the delivered piece will not be an exact match for the photos. Dust the wood and stone with a dry cloth, without water.

Bulb and installation

No bulb needs to be purchased: the LED is integrated, with a stated power of approximately 5 W. There is therefore no socket or need to replace the bulb over time.

The manufacturer states that this light source is not compatible with wall dimmers. General installation rule: connect to a fixed cable outlet, to be installed behind the bar before mounting, by an electrician.

Frequently asked questions

Are five watts enough to light up a room?

No, and that is not the purpose of this model. With approximately 5 W, Ostruvyo provides accent lighting: it highlights a wall, a mirror, or a niche. To properly light a room, it must complement a ceiling light or a more powerful light source.

Can it be installed vertically?

Its bar shape works in both directions, horizontally or vertically. The choice depends on the wall: vertically, it follows a vertical beam or a tall mirror; horizontally, it highlights a shelf. General installation rule: ensure a clean alignment with the adjacent element.

Is it compatible with a dimmer?

No. The manufacturer states that the default LED does not accept wall dimmers. Using an upstream dimmer could result in flickering or failure to turn on. If dimming is a firm requirement, it is best to raise this before ordering.

Will the travertine be identical on multiple units?

No. The manufacturer states that the travertine patterns vary from product to product. If you install several in a row in a hallway, the bars will have the same dimensions and wood color, but each shade will retain its own unique stone pattern.

For more

See the other woods and stones in our range of wall lights.
