In the living room, it structures a wall or complements a sofa; installed in a row along a hallway, it creates a regular rhythm. Its shade directs light downwards, creating a focused halo.

General installation rule: in the living room, place the centre of the wall light at approximately 1.40 to 1.60 m above the floor, slightly lower above the head of the bed for reading.

Material, finish and care

The wall light combines wood and painted metal, with a black or white finish. Dust the wood with a dry cloth, without allowing water to pool; wipe the metal with a soft cloth. Black accentuates a graphic and industrial style, while white adds a softer touch to a light and minimalist interior.

Bulb and installation

Nord takes an E27 bulb, not included. You can freely choose the brightness and colour temperature to suit your project; a warm white E27 LED creates a warm halo. It is fixed to the wall and connected to a cable outlet. Switch off the power before connecting.

Frequently asked questions

Does Nord replace a bedside lamp?

Yes. Placed on either side of a bed, it frees up the bedside table while providing downward-facing light, ideal for reading. Its downward-facing shade creates a focused halo. In a pair, it balances the bedroom lighting and adds rhythm to the wall.

Which bulb should I choose?

The socket is a standard E27, bulb not included. An E27 LED lets you choose the brightness and colour temperature: warm white for a cosy atmosphere, or a more neutral white for reading. Depending on the bulb chosen, it illuminates an area of approximately 5 to 10 m².

Which colour for which interior?

Two finishes are available: black and white. Black accentuates a graphic and industrial style, contrasting against a light-coloured wall; white is more discreet and suits light and minimalist interiors. Both combine wood with painted metal and feature the same downward-facing shade.

Can it be installed in a row?

Yes. Installed in a row along a hallway or living room wall, several Nord lights create a regular rhythm and a cohesive atmosphere. Allow for one cable outlet per wall light and maintain a consistent spacing. Above the head of the bed, a symmetrical pair is enough to balance the room.

For more

Discover the natural wood models in our collection of wall lights.
