Only the height varies, allowing the module to be adapted to the available wall space. One or two heads are enough on a landing or in a short hallway; four heads fit a double-height stairwell.

General installation rule: in a staircase, align the lights at approximately 1.80 m above the stair tread, and space them three to four meters apart along the flight to avoid dark areas between two points.

Material, finish and maintenance

Each module is closed by alabaster, a translucent stone whose veins change from one block to another: the manufacturer states that the received item will not match the images. The frame is made of white metal. A dry cloth is sufficient for both materials, without water or detergent.

Bulb and installation

No bulb to plan: the LED is integrated into each module, at 5 W each. The manufacturer does not detail the mounting system or compatibility with a dimmer. Have the connection carried out with the power off on a wall cable outlet.

Frequently asked questions

How many heads for a single-story staircase?

Two lights with two or three heads, spread across the flight, generally cover a standard floor. The four-head version, 58 cm high, is more suitable for a double-height space or a landing where you are looking for a clearly defined light source.

Which white to choose in a stairwell?

Neutral white makes the steps visible without looking clinical: it is the safest choice for circulation. Warm white matches a wooden staircase and a home atmosphere. Cool white is suitable for highly frequented contemporary spaces. The kelvins are not provided.

What is the power consumption for the four-head version?

The manufacturer states 20 W in total, or 5 W per module. To put it in perspective, four hours of daily use represents approximately 29 kilowatt-hours over a year. The single-head version consumes four times less, with its 5 W.

Can you mix several heights on the same wall?

Nothing prevents it, since all versions share the same width of 15 cm and the same frame. Just make sure to order the same shade of white for the whole set, otherwise the modules will not have the same appearance once lit side by side.

To go further

Discover the integrated-source luminaires in our wall light catalog.
