It frames a mirror, accompanies a door frame, or can be repeated along a hallway. The 60 cm version, the most powerful at 24 W, is suitable for high entryways.

The wiring is direct: the cable outlet must be positioned at the exact mounting point before drilling.

General installation rule: when placing it on either side of a mirror, aim for the center of the stone at approximately 1.60 m above the floor.

Material, finish and care

Alabaster is a natural stone with irregular veining. The manufacturer emphasizes that the patterns vary from one piece to another and that the delivered product will differ from the photos. The mount is made of brass. Clean the stone dry with a soft cloth, without water or household cleaning products.

Bulb and installation

The LED is built-in: no additional equipment or bulbs are required. The light fixture connects to 110 to 240 V via a standard wall switch, not included. For a dimmable version, the manufacturer recommends a TRIAC-type switch. It is stated to be compatible with European, North American, Australian and Saudi certifications.

Frequently asked questions

Which size of Selvia should I choose?

The 35 cm version, with an 11 cm diameter and 12 W, is suitable for a bedside light. The 50 cm version has a 14 cm diameter and 18 W and frames a standard mirror. The 60 cm version, at 24 W, is designed for high entryways and stairwells.

Are two Selvia wall lights identical?

No, and the manufacturer explicitly states this. Alabaster is a natural stone with veining that varies from one block to another: the product received will not reproduce the images in the catalog. Two columns placed side by side will share the same shape and brass finish, but never the same stone pattern.

Can the intensity of Selvia be adjusted?

Only the dimmable version allows this. The manufacturer recommends a TRIAC-type dimmer switch to achieve stable dimming. Check the selected variant before purchasing the dimmer: a non-dimmable model connected to a dimmer will flicker without properly reducing the light intensity.

Can Selvia be installed in a room with water?

The manufacturer mentions damp areas while stating an IP20 rating, which it describes as not waterproof and intended for indoor use only. The rating does not cover splashes or steam. Reserve Selvia for dry rooms; for a bathroom, aim for at least IP44.

Learn more

Explore our entire range of wall lights.
