The shade lets through a diffused light whose hue follows that of the installed source.

The body is low-profile and sits flush against the wall. The volume remains compact: the wall light finds its place above a worktop, along a narrow hallway, or on either side of a bed without obstructing the passage. The advertised area of 5 to 10 m² makes it an accent light rather than a main light source.

General installation rule: aim for the center of the wall light to be between 1.60 m and 1.80 m from the floor in a walkway, lower above a headboard to keep the light out of the line of sight.

Material, finish, and maintenance

The manufacturer describes the metal and acrylic as resistant to moisture and corrosion. The painted base is cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth, without abrasive products. Acrylic scratches easily: a dry microfiber cloth is enough to remove dust from the bowl.

Bulb and installation

The source is an SMD LED supplied with the wall light: no standard socket to equip, no bulb to buy separately. The power supply accepts a voltage of 110 to 240 V and is hardwired, on a fixed outlet. Assembly is required upon unpacking. The manufacturer recommends entrusting the connection to an electrician.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy a bulb for this Arisha wall light?

No. The SMD LED source is built-in and delivered with the wall light, which avoids having to look for a compatible socket. The power supply accepts 110 to 240 V, so the French domestic sector. You still need to plan for a cable outlet in the wall at the chosen location, since the connection is hardwired and not on a power outlet.

Can it be placed in a bathroom?

The manufacturer indicates an IP20 rating and indoor use. This rating does not cover water splashes or sustained humidity: the wall light therefore has no place in spaces close to a shower or bathtub. Reserve it for dry rooms, living room, bedroom, hallway, or kitchen away from the water source.

At what height should the bowl be fixed to the wall?

General installation rule: 1.60 m to 1.80 m between the floor and the center of the light fixture in a hallway or entrance, so as to illuminate without glaring. Above a bedside table, lower it to around 1.30 m to 1.40 m. Above a worktop, allow about thirty centimeters of clearance.

What is the difference between the black finish and the gold finish?

Only the metal base changes color. The shade remains translucent acrylic in both cases, and its apparent color depends mainly on the light emitted. The black version blends in discreetly on a dark wall, the gold version catches the eye more on a light paint.

To go further

Browse all our indoor wall lights to compare shapes.
